Hello, My name is Gwendolyn Varone and I'm a realtor with Kline May real estate. I've been a realtor for three years. My family moved to the Shenandoah valley three years ago. I love living in the Shenandoah valley. Some of the activites I enjoy here are hiking, kayaking/tubing, and attending the many concerts, plays and festivals the valley hosts.
I've been married to my wonderful husband Robert for 29 years and have three grown children who all live nearby. All three of my kids enjoy the many outdoor activities this area has to offer.
I love helping sellers prepare their home to sell and perform marketing to get their home sold fast. I stay up to date on current home improvement trends and being able to guide my client what repairs might be needed before the house goes on the market. At our consultation I ask many questions such as what your motivation is to sell, what's next and where you will be moving to; to get a sense of their needs, desires, and timeline. One of the tools Kline May offers if staging. Staging has been shown to improve the listings' ability to sell for top dollar and quickly.
Finding the perfect home for my buying clients is another aspect of real estate I enjoy. During the buying consultation we discuss their lifestyle, which locations or subdivisions they're interested in, desire for extra acreage; to target what kind of home and what location they should be looking for. The smiles on my clients faces at settlement gives me great satisfaction.
Service to our community
While I worked with Keller Williams Alliance in Charlottesville, I enjoyed working at various Charlottesville area association of realtors sponsored community help days. Some of those involved going to the local food bank and sorting and handing out food . On one occasion I was a bell ringer for Salvation army. These community days were a wonderful way to meet fellow realtors and be a service to our community.
While at Kline May realty, I volunteer with Love Inc. and volunteer hours at their thrift store running the cash register and also I am a spirtual friend to a community member. I also volunteer with Disciples kitchen in Waynesboro. The realtors in my office come together and prepare meals and give them to local residents who need a warm meal.
I have recently signed up to be on committees with Great Augusta Association of Realtors and am looking forward to having input on the education committee and the builing and grounds committee.
Real Estate education
I received my Real Estate license in May of 2019. My goal for the year 2023 is to attend all classes to receive my Graduate Realtor Institute designation and would like to work on C2CX as well .
