George Wilson

George resides in Bridgewater, Virginia, with his cat, Sonja.  Wife Harriet died in March 2011. 

George has been in real estate part-time since 1976. Having retired from a career in teaching, George is now devoting full time in real estate to assist customers in finding their real estate dream.

George has written one book entitled The Three Fanged Rattlesnake.  It includes some wild stories about his experiences working with the U. S. Forest Service and the YCC program back in the 1970's.   He is currently working on writing another book entitled Growing Up in Monterey, VA.

Other than trout fishing George spends a lot of his spare time with genealogy.  He is a family history consultant with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints in Harrisonburg and goes to the Washington Temple in Kensington, MD, about once a  month.  One of his computers contains over 23,000 names of relatives, most of whom lived in Pendleton, Pocahontas, and Randolph counties, WV, and Highland County, VA.  He has 99.9 % of the obituaries that were in the Highland Recorder since 1887.
